Betty's Homemade Egg McMuffin Recipe

In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make her version of an Egg McMuffin Breakfast Sandwich. Her version has a toasted English muffin, topped with a fried egg, Canadian bacon, and a slice of deluxe American cheese. Easy and inexpensive! Ingredients (for 1 McMuffin): 1/2 tablespoon margarine 1 English muffin, split and toasted 1 large egg salt and pepper, to taste 1 slice of Canadian bacon (I used 1 slice of an 8.8 oz. package that had 14 slices.) 1 slice Deluxe American cheese cooking oil spray Note: You will need a can the size of a tuna can, with both ends cut out with a can opener, washed and dried. (I used a small crushed pineapple can.) Split an English muffin, and toast it in an electric toaster. Set aside. Spray the bottom of the open can with cooking oil spray (the end without the lip.) In a small skillet, melt 1/2 tablespoon margarine. Place 1 slice of Canadian bacon in the skillet to warm and brown up. When the skillet is hot enough to fry the egg, place the open can in the skillet, and break 1 egg into the can. You may need to press the can down initially, to keep the egg white from escaping. (Use a potholder, if the can is warm.) Once the egg starts cooking, you may release your hold on the can. Salt and pepper the egg to taste, and break the yolk, in order to mix the egg around a bit. The Colts only won two games in 1981, the season opener and the season finale both against the Patriots. While the Colts offense was respectable, the defense had it's difficulties all season. The finale game of the season also marked Bert Jones last game as a Colt. Jones ended his career as a Colt with three touchdown passes in his final game. I believe this was also Don McCauley's last game (a nice way to end a career - td from Jones). There is also a play in the final game where Jones tucks the ball under his shirt and runs for a moment (the played was declared dead), it was featured in a follies film shortly thereafter. The clip makes no mention of Jones's name because he was already traded to the Rams by the time the film was being made. The focus is on the receivers like Raymond Butler and Roger Carr (though Carr went to Seattle before the 1982 season started).
