Grateful Dead - Help on the Way/Slipknot @ Knickerbocker Arena, Albany NY, 6/22/95

2nd set opener, and a less than fitting farewell to the mighty Help/Slip/Franklin's - This was pretty typical of the sloppy shows that plagued both Spring & Summer tours in 95. I saw a few shows on each tour (Birmingham and Tampa on Spring Tour and Albany, Auburn Hills and Pittsburgh on Summer Tour). Of those eight shows I can only think of one time that really seemed to stand out - Jerry singing Visions of Johanna in Tampa. For me personally there were very few highlights in 1995, and it's hard for me to understand just how bad things got for Jerry in just a matter of 3 or 4 years. 1991 and 92 were very solid touring years, with many excellent shows. By 95 it was hit and miss...with far more misses than hits.
